Hello, I am looking to upgrade my surround setup and replace my old HTiB with an better quality setup. I would like to stay in the $2000-2500 range including a receiver. I've been looking at either the ELAC Debut 2.0 package on Amazon or the Klipsch RP250F setup. I have looked around at different review sites and the like but can't really find any consensus on what's good in this price point. The receiver I get needs to be able to do 4K HDR and have inputs for around 5 devices minimum. Room size is 19' x 11.5'. The TV will go on the 19' wall.
A 5.1 surround sound system basically means you have five channels of audio coming through your speakers and a subwoofer, which puts the.1 in 5.1, if you know what we mean. Three of those channels can come from a Sonos PLAYBASE or PLAYBAR speaker. (While we’ve got you here, check out why the PLAYBASE. We're going to be talking about a 5 speaker home theater setup which consists of a center, front left and right, and 2 surround speakers. When you hear the term, '5.1 speaker system', the.1.
I was looking at doing floor standing speakers for the front L & R speakers and then smaller wall speakers for the satellite L & R (due to the door leading into the room being about a 8' wide on the wall opposite where the TV will set).any help or guidance on this would be appreciated. Sorry if this is posted to the wrong forum.
